Outboard Powered Vessel £88.00
Single Inboard Powered Vessel £98.00
Twin Inboard Powered Vessel £108.00
Deduct £10.00 from the above if No LPG

The above fees include:-
BSS examination, travel to the boat mooring and BSS Certificate (price currently £34.04) in the following areas:-
Norfolk and Suffolk
Northants
Cambridgeshire
South Yorkshire
In addition, anywhere within 20 miles of the Northampton – South Yorkshire corridor can usually, with a little notice, be arranged within this price structure.
Outside the above outlined areas, additional travel expenses would be charged at 40p per mile and agreed verbally or by email prior to any visit.
Re-Test?
No charge will be made for a single return visit, provided this can be made within two months of the original inspection.
Any further additional visits will be charged at £30.00 plus travel expenses at 40p per mile.
Discounts
A large proportion of my costs are incurred in travel expenses, I am therefore always keen to offer an incentive to boat owners to arrange for multiple examinations at the same location.
I offer a discount of £10.00 per boat if two or more boats can be examined on the same visit.
Also, remember - there is a £10 discount for those boats with no LPG installation.
I have recently tested a lot of Yachts on the Norfolk Broads which really have little to check other than the outboard and fire extinguisher - no gas, not battery or electrics, no cooking facilities. So, if you can fit in with my travel arrangements I am happy to examine such craft for just £65.00 including the certificate cost.
No VAT is charged on the above fees. Payment by Cheque or Cash is payable upon completion of the examination.
