Ian Jennings - Profile
Norfolk Broads, Northants, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and the Midlands

Ian Jennings is an independent, self-employed, mobile registered Boat Safety Examiner offering fixed prices for BSS Examinations within a number of areas of England. Ian also carries out Insurance and Pre-puchase Surveys Click Here to link to his Survey website.

'My approach is to work together with boat owners in order to achieve the required BSS standard. Often little, if anything, will be required if your boat has been previously tested. If a short list of requirements is drawn up many boat owners are very practically minded and will be happy to work their way through the list at their leisure during those wet Sunday afternoons in the marina. Of course, during this period I’m just a phone call away if you need any further help or advice.

All that’s required then is to call me back to check through the list and issue the certificate, a far better solution than leaving things almost until expiry and then rushing around trying to beat the deadline and incurring unnecessary costs. Boating is expensive enough!

By working together renewing your Boat Safety Certificate need not be an ordeal! Please give me a call and let me help.'  Telephone:- 07828-100-418

Ian's current boats - pictured in the Brundall yard

I own a Sea Master 30, which acts as my Norfolk Broads base. ‘Evening Tide’ is currently moored at Brundall, meanwhile ‘Morning Tide’ my Broom Scorpio sits on a trailer on my driveway in Northampton awaiting an outing when the sun appears!

Sometimes, as a treat, the boats go out together!
